Serena is a presentation skills trainer and professional actress of some 30 years.
For the last twenty years she has brought her theatrical skills, knowledge and talents to bear in the business world to help managers and leaders to connect and communicate more effectively and authentically.
In addition, Serena is a voice coach having trained with Patsy Rodenberg in Voice for Actors at The Guildhall School of Music and Drama. She has a foundation in psychotherapy through the Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy Education.
Using a combination of her knowledge of theatre and her coaching skills, Serena works with individuals and groups to increase their personal impact when communicating: to maximise the power of storytelling, to increase public speaking confidence and to develop a naturally-engaging presentation style.
Serena trained at The Central School of Speech and Drama, and has appeared in many television shows including the BBC’s ‘The Comic Strip’ and ‘The Thin Blue Line’. She has worked for all the major theatre companies (The RSC, Royal National Theatre, Shakespeare’s Globe), and is often seen on the West End Stage.
She has been seen most recently as:
- Grandma in TV Series ‘There she goes’ with David Tennant (2018)
- Desiree in Chester Storyhouse Theatre’s ‘A little night music’ with her husband Daniel Flynn (2018)
- Headteacher Mrs Hammond in TV Series ‘Catastrophe’ with Rob Delaney and Sharon Horgan (2017)
