Based in Pembrokeshire, Lisa describes herself as an educator and a leader. She is an innovative and dynamic education professional, with 27 years of practical experience and a proven track record of designing, leading and delivering the best in teaching and training solutions.
Having won herself an Army undergraduate bursary at just 17, she attended the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst after graduation, then spent 10 years as an Army Officer. She travelled widely during that time working as an education officer, designing and delivering soldiers’ education, teaching them how to be effective leaders and trainers. She managed Army Education Centres in Germany and Hong Kong.
She and her family relocated to Pembrokeshire in 2002 and Lisa then spent 12 years working as a lecturer in English and communication skills. She was responsible for curricula design and development, management of learning processes and delivering programmes. At the same time, and whilst raising a young family, she trained to be a yoga teacher and in 2015, Lisa seized the opportunity to open a wellbeing centre in St Davids.
Over her 27-year career Lisa has honed her many skills in leadership, management, teaching and training, and latterly, working with body and breath. Working with her good friend and colleague Serena Evans, these skills are now integrated into a unique workshop that enables people to become dynamic, effective and authentic presenters.
