Managing Performance - 2 days

Companies operating effective performance management processes and developing managers' Performance Management skills have higher engagement scores, fewer retention issues and have a way of measuring what is, and what is not happening throughout the organisation.

Managing performance involves goal setting, objective setting, performance appraisal, reward and recognition, career development and ensures individual goals are aligned to those of the team and the broader organisation.

Lack of effective performance management leads to role drift, salary drift and dissatisfaction amongst employees, in particular, when poor performance is not tackled.

We also consider the opportunities and limitations of managing performance by focusing on strengths and use StrengthsFinderTM to do this.
