How did you first get into coaching?

As a TV producer I had to build a daily communication strategy to engage an international audience, with 100% exposure and no room for mistakes. One of my many responsibilities was also to look after the anchor's image. However, when it came to guests within the program -ranging from heads of state to CEOs- there was very little I could do for them on the spot because they had their own advisors. During my years as a producer, I saw many lost opportunities and damaged reputations. I am now determined to empower people with my insight knowledge so they can remain in control of their message and image at all times.

How would you describe your coaching approach?

I believe that in order to influence people they need to fully understand the reason underlying a given strategy and experience its potential benefits. When crafting and delivering a message there is always a reason why certain things are said and done. Highly practical, my workshops provide a combination of crucial exercises supported by compelling theory. This is a balanced formula that helps clients remember key concepts and change their long-term behaviour accordingly.

What are your areas of specialism?

I help people deliver assertive messages to produce the desired impact. I specialise in teaching professionals how to stay in control of a message when faced with tough questions during an interview or a press conference. We work on crafting key messages (from its angle to its wording), the delivery (from body language to voice control), and on building the confidence needed to appear on camera. The tactics learnt during the workshop are also useful when taping corporate videos and podcasts.

What do you enjoy about coaching?

I enjoy watching how my specialist knowledge can help people enhance their communication skills and control a situation to produce the exact results they want. When the exposure is high, the client's reputation can be at stake. I find it fulfilling to empower clients by providing them with the skills they need to build and protect their own image.

What kinds of people have you coached before?

I have coached across various industries and sectors, including private companies, large European institutions and high-profile international organisations. My clients range from top-ranking managers to spokespeople and PR professionals.
