I trained as a psychologist and very soon entered into the corporate world and people development, so coaching was a natural extension of the services I offered to my clients. It was a conscious decision for me to work with highly functioning individuals who wanted to be their best, though as a coach my range includes maximising potential and creating your best self as well as clearing out old patterns from the past that are getting in your way.
How would you describe your coaching approach? Maximum 50 words
My clients describe me as intuitive, articulate and warm, with the ability to deliver incisive challenge that cuts through blockages and a passion and tenacity for getting a positive result that keeps them inspired to achieve their goals.
What are your areas of specialism? Maximum 50 words -no bullet points please
My specialisms are mending and building positive relationships, increasing cohesion and alignment in teams, and having powerful, productive conversations that get results. I often work with leaders who need to navigate the complex areas of relationships, influence and politics to succeed. I also specialise in confidence coaching and overcoming blocks to effectiveness that free the way to achieving your goals.
What do you enjoy about coaching? Maximum 50 words
I believe deeply in our ability to become more conscious, self-aware human beings and to free ourselves from the habitual and often hidden thoughts and feelings that keep us playing small. I love to see my clients enjoying the freedom to create themselves as they would like to be, which can be so much more than they currently are, and to realise the goals and lifestyle they desire for themselves.
What kinds of people in what roles have you coached before? Maximum 50 words
I work with all kinds of leaders and managers, from coaching board members in the largest professional services firm in the world, chief executives and partnerships, right through to directors and senior managers seeking promotion and those needing to change their behaviours to be more successful at work and in life. My clients span the public and private sectors, including energy, banking, engineering, professional services, local authorities, consulting and mining amongst others.
