How did you first get into coaching?

Firstly having built successful marketing teams I realised I got a buzz out of creating an environment where people could perform and develop. Secondly I had opportunity to have a coach and I experienced the value of being listened to of being supported and challenged as I thought out loud.

How would you describe your coaching approach?

I operate on the coachee's agenda. I trust the process will allow the coachee to decide what they want to think about. Secondly by making them feel listened to and asking insightful questions that will support and challenge their thinking, I enable them to create their own solutions.

What are your areas of specialism?

Eamon experience is in marketing and sales. His work involved developing strategy and translating it into operational effectiveness through the creation, leadership, management and coaching of high performing teams. Specialist areas include marketing, sales, team-development (including pan-European & international) and specialist skills in facilitation, communication and coaching others.

What do I enjoy about coaching?

At one level I enjoy being involved with helping someone to be the best they can be - whether that is their performance their learning or development. The feeling I get after a session just knowing that I have been seriously good and I have helped them "grow" - is brilliant

What kinds of people in what roles have you coached before?

I have coached leaders at all levels in organisations

'Eamon built rapport and empathy very quickly and his insightful questioning helped me to replace confused thinking with clarity and purpose.  An agreed action plan gave me the confidence and reassurance to tackle the issue. The result was extremely positive and built great trust in the support and challenge that was offered by him as my personal coach.'
