How did you first get into coaching?

I had facilitated on a leadership programme for over 10 years whilst working in a number of organisations and loved seeing the personal growth of individuals over the course of the programme. So, eventually, I decide to focus on this more of the time and train as a coach and make it my profession.

How would you describe your coaching approach?

I guess you would describe it as a holistic approach, taking into account the whole of the person and the environment they find themselves in. I start very much from where you are at and what your needs are, then work with and support you to enable you to get to where you want to be.

What are your areas of specialism?

The areas I tend to specialise in are impact and influence, leadership branding, change management, leadership presence and developing teams.

What do you enjoy about coaching?

What I really enjoy is seeing people grow in confidence and self belief and recognising what they can do. Seeing them acknowledge that they do have the answers and trying out something new, no matter how small, and getting a better result is fantastic!

What kinds of people and in what roles have you coached before?

I have coached a range of people in both the public and private sector in middle to senior management positions. Industry sectors range from technology to retail, insurance, travel, police, NHS airlines both within the U.K. and across Europe. Job titles have ranged from M.D's to Sales Directors, Senior Engineers to Superintendents in the Police, Finance Directors to H.R. Managers. I have coached young people trekking their way through the Himalayas so my coaching has been in a variety of contexts!
