How did you first get into coaching?

I am fortunate enough to have been coached myself by some brilliant people.  With them I have faced hard truths, figured my way through all manner of business hurdles, and navigated my way through tough decisions and relationships.  I'm still in touch with those coaches and they continue to inspire me ... to where I am today.

How would you describe your coaching approach?

I start with the assumption that my client has the answers. Through asking questions, listening and asking more questions, I help clear a path to those answers.  I ask clients to work with real evidence and feedback to see where the possibilities are for the future.

What are your areas of specialism?

Optimising performance through self awareness.  To date this has covered everything from corporate relationship management to career planning, transitioning from being a ‘do-er' to a ‘thinker', to managing internal communication challenges.

What do you enjoy about coaching?

Watching people take ownership both of where they are now and of where they want to be.  I see coaching as enabling - it allows clients to take time to think and focus on what's important, it helps organize thoughts and clarify action.  The results can be amazing. 

What kinds of people in what roles have you coached before?

I have coached managers of people and managers of processes, managing directors and people aspiring to be managing directors, project managers, people looking to make a complete career change and people aspiring to do their current role better, all across a variety of fields, industries and geographies.
