Our code of ethics
Red 10 Coaches and Mentors have committed to:
- Abide by both the letter and intent of this Code of Ethics
- Act in a professional, ethical manner in all dealings as a Coach or Mentor, in particular, to maintain professional and ethical boundaries with clients
- Maintain a strict code of confidentiality in all dealings with the client, unless otherwise agreed with the client or as required by law
- Accept the client's right to end the coaching or mentoring contract at any time
- Be open and honest and accurate in representations to the client concerning personal skills, knowledge and experience and disclose any real or potential conflict of interest
- Ensure that all proper processes are in place before the start of the coaching programme, in turn to ensure a professional service is delivered to the client. This includes:
• The coaching and mentoring agreement
• The fees
• Technology compatibility requirements
- Advise the client of any further professional support the Coach or Mentor believes will benefit the client, whether written or out with the Coach or Mentor's own professional qualification and experience
- Maintain and store safely, accurate and clear records of all client dealings for the duration of the coaching contract and to destroy or hand over all records made at the end of the coaching contract, unless otherwise expressly agreed with the client.
